CloudOps
Cloud Developer Intern (May 2022 - Aug 2022)
Worked as a full-stack developer for the CloudOps products team building CloudMC which is an edge orchestration platform for cloud service providers which helps developers deploy, operate and monetize cloud resources. Primarily worked on a billing feature to allow customers to preemptively buy cloud usage in return for a discounted price. This feature works with AWS, GCP, Azure and many other cloud services

Worked with product owners to translate wireframe designs into a web application with React.js and Redux, focusing on performance, security and scalability. Also implemented features on the mobile app with flutter like the home and profile page. Started as a front-end engineer, promoted after 4 months to full-stack engineer.

Created a web app at McHacks (McGills Hackathon) with ReactJS and NextJS, incorporating the Cohere NLP API to generate recipes based on provided ingredients.
Achievements:
  • 1st place in the "Best use of NLP with Cophere challenge"

Concious Consumer
Conscious Consumer is a Chrome Extension that suggests local and sustainable shopping alternatives to customers. It was built during McHacks9, a 36 hour hackathon hosted by McGill.
Achievements:
  • 3rd place overall: out of 94 teams (342 participants)
  • 1st place: Ivey School of Business Challenge
  • 1st place: Best User of CockroachDB

A fellow student and I competed in Winhacks, a hakathon hosted by the university of Windsor. We made an app designed to change the way we view real estate listings.

Pills on Time
I competed in McHacks 8, McGill's hackathon open to university students all across North America. I entered with a team of two other McGill Students and we made an app that allows the user to take a picture of their perscription label and the app will automatically add reminders in their calendar based what is written on the label.
